3 Injured After DUI Suspect Crashes Into Wall

Three people have been injured after an alleged drunk driver first struck another vehicle and then into a wall. According to authorities, the accident happened at approximately 11:19 p.m. on Sunday at Overland and Palms Avenues. The crash left three people injured including the DUI driver, his passenger and the driver of the other vehicle.

The passenger in the vehicle of the alleged DUI driver was critically injured while drivers of both vehicles sustained lesser injuries. All of the injured were transported to area hospitals. The suspected DUI driver is expected to be booked after treatment.

Driving under the influence of alcohol, no matter the circumstances, is considered a serious crime. In nearly every state in the Union, the legal blood alcohol level that a driver must have to operate a vehicle is below 0.08%.
