Crash Forces Vehicle through CVS Doors

downloadA two-vehicle crash in Studio City last weekend forced one of the vehicles involved into the glass doors of a CVS Pharmacy, leaving one person injured.

According to Erik Scott, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided in the 12000 block of Ventura Boulevard and Laurel Canyon. The crash sent one of the vehicles crashing through the glass doors of the store, leaving the driver injured. No patrons of the pharmacy were injured.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene of the crash, all occupants of the vehicles involved in the incident had been able to remove themselves from their car. Only one of the people in the incident suffered any injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their condition was unknown.

Other than the broken glass doors, the building suffered no structural damage in the incident.

The incident is still under investigation.
