Accidents occur because of different reasons. It can be due to over speeding, driving under the influence, inexperience or careless driving and, most of the time, loss of control. No matter what the exact cause is, only one thing is for certain, people who get involved in accidents would just want to fast-forward that tragic episode of their lives — either to simply end their suffering or to escape the tragedy that they have caused.

For an instance, an accident which recently occurred at 40th and H streets in San Bernardino put a 20-year-old man in coma. Justin Yates was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center following the hit-and-run crash. According to San Bernardino police Sgt. Vicki Cervantes, a 26-year-old Mentone man named Francisco Antonio Medina was driving a Nissan Frontier pick-up truck eastbound on 40th Street in San Bernardino around 12:10 A.M. Medina did not halt at a stop sign at the intersection, which caused the crash between his vehicle and the Chevrolet Cruz Yates was a passenger in. The incident brought four people to the hospital. Medina was arrested at Redlands Community Hospital after receiving medical treatment for injuries he sustained during the crash.
