Six Arrests Made at San Bernardino Checkpoint

downloadThe Traffic Division of the San Bernardino Police Department has made six arrests after conducting a checkpoint last week.

According to police officials, some 230 vehicles were screened at a checkpoint located at 12th and E streets checkpoint. Of the six arrests, four drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and two arrests for driving under the influence of drugs.

Two additional arrests were made for drivers that had outstanding warrants. Additionally, 18 drivers were issued citations for driving without a license or driving on a suspended or revoked license and 24 citations were given for miscellaneous traffic violations.

Police also impounded 15 vehicles during the checkpoint.
