Teen Arrested in Fatal Accident

download (1)Police have arrested a 19-year-old driver that they believe was involved in an accident that killed three people in North Hills.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a two vehicle head-on collision that occurred at 8300 N. Haskell Avenue at approximately 3:00 a.m. The collision involved a Jeep Liberty and a 1993 Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the Jeep has been identified as Riley John Holman, 19, of Mission Hills, suffered only minor injuries while two of the four men who had been in the Toyota Corolla were declared dead at the scene of the crash and two other men in the vehicle were transported to an area hospital. One of the two men later died at the hospital as the result of his wounds sustained in the accident.

The four men in the Toyota were all in their 20’s. Authorities have not released their names pending notification of family members.
